To achieve this mission, Button is bringing Bitcoin-backed liquidity to Hyperliquid, enabling traders and holders to reuse BTC as margin on-chain without custody or cross-chain friction. Button’s permissionless vaults allow users to lock BTC and borrow a CDP-based stablecoin for trading perpetual futures or earning yield—all in one venue.
Our team includes builders from Facebook, LinkedIn, and leading Web3 projects like Rainbow, Xai, Ex Populus, and thirdweb. We move fast, stay lean, and obsess over shipping real impact—not just prototypes.
The Role
We are looking for a Design Lead to shape Button’s brand identity, product design, and user experience across all touch points.
This is a role for someone who thrives at the intersection of brand, product, and storytelling. We are looking for a leader who can make Button’s mission tangible through beautiful, intuitive, and functional design.
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve Button’s brand identity across product, marketing, and community
- Lead the design of user flows, interfaces, and visual systems for Button’s protocol and trading experiences
- Partner with founders and engineers to translate complex concepts into clear and compelling user experiences
- A passion for all aspects of design, including conceptual thinking, typography, motion,
copy, and imagery
- Lead brand projects starting with research, including trends and competitor analysis and
identifying whitespace opportunities
- Develop and maintain a design system that ensures consistency and quality across all surfaces
- Design wireframes, screens, and prototypes to illustrate product behavior in relation to
interaction, 3D, and motion
- Establish Button’s creative culture: create standards for craft, detail, and storytelling
- Collaborate on external communications (website, investor decks, product launches, cultural moments) to ensure Button’s voice and visuals remain consistent and differentiated
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in product/brand design, with at least 2+ years in a senior or leadership role
